Battle of the Bakers

Stay tuned for the next Battle of the Bakers, coming in the 2026/27 academic year!

Sweeten up your spring with Flamborough’s inaugural Battle of the Bakers!

FREE Admission. Everyone Welcome!

Join us on Thursday, April 23rd from 4 – 8 p.m. for an exciting event and pop-up market, complete with activities for the whole family, demonstrations by professional bakers, and a competition for the ultimate cookie and you get to be the judge!

But that’s not the whole cookie! The recipes are created by students in a school competition. These budding bakers are then paired with a professional baker to bring their recipe to life, provide mentorship, and give them insights into a career in the culinary arts.

Cookie Cards are available for purchase at the event. Only $5 for a Cookie Card to sample ALL 6 cookies. Proceeds support Healthy Youth Network.

In partnership with Waterdown District High School

We are grateful to the following sponsors for their commitment to supporting local youth and community initiatives. Their generosity helps make this event possible. If you share this vision, we welcome you to become a sponsor and be part of the impact.
