Join the Battle as a Professional Baker!

Calling All Professional Bakers & Culinary Experts

Are you ready to put your skills to the test and inspire the next generation?

We are looking for a few good bakers who are willing to lead the charge. On Thursday, April 23rd, we are hosting The Battle of the Bakers that will be the “taste of the town,” and we want you at the centre of it.

Time: 4 – 8 p.m. (set up 3 p.m.)

Location: Waterdown District High School, 215 Parkside Dr., Waterdown

The Challenge:

Professional bakers will pair up with students to compete to see who can create the Ultimate Cookie.

The “Whole Cookie”:

This isn’t just about the oven; it’s about the Path.

  • Student-Led Recipes: The cookie recipes are born in a high school competition.
  • The Pairing: You will be paired with these budding bakers to bring their vision to life.
  • The Impact: Provide invaluable mentorship and give local students a real-world look into a career in the culinary arts.
  • The Event: You and your student mentee will present your cookie at the community-wide event, and the public will vote on the Ultimate Cookie!
