The plan to transform our community

We bring together expertise in education, mental health and business to provide youth and parents; the information, resources, tools and support they need to make informed decisions and grow up healthy.

That’s why Healthy Youth Network was created

As a collaborative of parents, community groups, schools, businesses, agencies and organizations, we work together to create a community that builds the assets youth need to flourish.

Our approach provides balance and ensures that the whole community has representation. And because many initiatives and relationships already exist we don’t seek to replace those networks, but collaborate with and build off of them. We see how many likeminded people there are working to build up this community and we want to work with them.

Through our portals; parents, youth and partners know what is available, are able to easily access help, can provide important feedback, and problem solve together.

This means parents and youth are able to access what they need, in one place!

We work with youth-serving organizations by:

  • Offering training
  • Sharing data
  • Providing assessment tools
  • Linking to support
  • Connecting them to youth, parents and other partners

The investment we make together in their health makes our community stronger.

But most importantly, we see youth as co-creators. Using a “train the trainer” model, we empower youth so they can drive change, solve problems and train other youth themselves.
