Description
Sir Allan MacNab HEART (Healthy Education About Relationships Team) is breaking gender stereotypes through an academic year calendar!
HEART students created this fundraising project, photographing their teachers and staff in scenes that break gender stereotypes, featured in these school calendars. The calendar includes PA Days and school holidays, from September 2026 – August 2027. Check out some behind-the-scenes photos below!
HEART’s goal is to promote healthy relationships to help end the cycle of gender-based and youth dating violence. They do this by planning events and projects to share education with their peers. Under the umbrella of gender-based violence also includes breaking gender stereotypes and working towards gender equality. Click here to learn more about HEART.
Support this student-led project and purchase your own calendar! Proceeds go into the HEART program for their events and activities.
