Sir Allan MacNab HEART (Healthy Education About Relationships Team) is breaking gender stereotypes through an academic year calendar!
HEART’s goal is to promote healthy relationships to help end the cycle of gender-based and youth dating violence. They do this by planning events and projects to share education with their peers. Under the umbrella of gender-based violence also includes breaking gender stereotypes and working towards gender equality.
The HEART team created this fundraising project, selling school calendars which feature images of their teachers and staff in scenes that break gender stereotypes. Check out the sneak peek photos below!
You can purchase your own calendar and support this student-led project! Proceeds go into the HEART program for their events and activities. Click here to learn more about HEART.
Pickup: You can pick up your calendar in September from the main office at Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School or from HWDSB. You can select your pickup location on checkout. We will contact you in September when your order is ready for pickup.
